On November 28th, Heavy Love welcomes Louie Vega to Fabriketa, in São Paulo, for a night dedicated to house music and the different cultures that are part of its history. For Heavy Love, welcoming Louie Vega is a historic milestone. He is one of our greatest inspirations as a label, and celebrating Heavy's anniversary with his presence is a great gift for you and for us. One of the references that are part of our history and the dance floor we love will be with us on a night that transforms Fabriketa into an altar for house and its lovers.

LINE UP /// Louie Vega is one of the names that shaped house music. Born in the Bronx, into a Puerto Rican family, he connects Latin heritage, jazz tradition, disco memories, and influences from salsa, soul, and gospel within club music. His journey takes him through the clubs of the Bronx and Manhattan, his partnership with Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez in Masters at Work, the meeting of musicians from different generations in the Nuyorican Soul project, and a solo career built around collaborations. He has worked with big names in music such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Jamiroquai, Janet Jackson, Earth, Wind & Fire, and Donna Summer. It is this meeting of rhythms, stories, and people that inspires the night.
